[Yuri's POV]      

I look down as I walked slowly at the cafeteria of our school. My hands were crossed on my . Honestly, I don’t know how to push my head up. I just don’t have the confidence to do so.

"Ohayou, nerdie-chan," said the guy that I was passing by and I heard the people around us laugh.

I slightly lifted my head as I looked up to see who it was and saw that it was Hikaru-kun. The guy who always wants to make other people laugh.

"Yamette kudasai, Hikaru-kun," I said but I know that my voice was so low that he barely heard.

"Nani, nerdie-chan?" He said as he moved closer like he wants to hear what I was saying.

I stepped back a bit and I was thinking of pushing him but I was surprised when his body suddenly pulled back like he was pulled.

We both unconsciously looked at the back side of Hikaru and saw there a tall, thin and perfectly gorgeous guy standing there, his hand on the shoulder of Hikaru that he just pulled.

"Yabu-kun," both Hikaru and I said and I was sure that we were both surprised. Yabu Kota was one of the most famous students in school. In fact, he was the MOST Famous guy in school. Not only because of his kakoi looks and beautiful voice and amazing dance moves, he was also very kind and helpful to the other students. Or so I heard. We are both seniors but we weren't in the same class ever since.

"Hikaru, stop making fun of Yuri," said Yabu-kun as he looked at Hikaru with a fed-up look.

And... he knows my name?

"I was not--" Hikaru was trying to say but Yabu just looked at him more. So he just said, "Hai hai."

I did not know what to do when he looked at me so I just bowed my head, said "Arigatou" and walked away.

"Nani?" I asked Hikaru as Yuri walked passed by us saying something that I barely ever heard. "What did she say?"

"Saa?" Hikaru said with a shrug.

"Her voice was so low," I said.

Hikaru put a hand on my shoulder and said, "Hai. That was why I was leaning close to her earlier. Because I can’t hear what she was saying."

"Ah. Sokka," I felt kindda embarrassed when he said that but he just walked off and I walked behind him. We were heading to our class now.

"Ne~ Yabu," Hikaru said as we walked.

"Hai?" I said.

"The prom is in just days. Who will you take with you?" Hikaru asked and just as I started to think, Yuri's face popped in my head.

I looked up and wondered why as I walked.

"Yabu-kun!" Hikaru bothered my thinking, but when I looked at him beside me, he was not there.

"Oi, baka. You passed by our classroom. What were you thinking?" Hikaru said teasingly to me.

'Don’t say that when you had me thinking here,' I thought. But I just walked quietly and entered the class.

[Yuri's POV]

As usual, the girls in my class were gathered around me at break time asking me to 'teach me this' and 'teach me that'.

But they only really gather like this around me when they need something.

"Ne~ have you heard?" I heard one of them said as I read my notes for the next class.

"Nani?" answered the other one.

"Yabu-kun hasn't asked anybody for the prom yet," said the first girl again.

I looked up as they said that and listened.

"Usou,"
"Usou ja naii,"
"Kya~!"
"Maybe he wants to ask me?"
"Dekinai,"
"Ah. Speaking of the gorgeous devil," then both of the girls looked at the door way so I did too.

Yabu-kun way standing there. He may be out because it was free periods and he and his friends often stay out at free periods.

I was staring at him like that when he suddenly turned with a smile, and...

CAUGHT!

I quickly pulled up my book and sank at my chair in embarrassment.

THE NIGHT OF THE PROM...

It was the night everybody was waiting for.

Prom Night: The Princes and Princess Ball

 [Yabu's POV]

Since she entered the hall, I just can’t take my eyes off of her. Everybody were dressed as Prince and Princesses but she really stand out on my sight... or not on my sight alone. I see a lot of guys were looking as her too.

And it's annoying! But how do I know who it is? Not that I have bad eyesight, but she wore a MASK!

I stood at one corner of the hall and I made sure I had a good view of her.

As time pass by, I saw that a lot of guys asked her to dance and she did dance with them. But she return to her place after every dance. Good thing.

'Should I ask her to dance now? It’s just minutes left until midnight and the King and Queen will be announced. What to do, what to do?' I thought over and over again but I can’t seem to think straight as I looked at her.

A lot of guy asked me to dance but I always go back to same spot where I sat to have a good view of Yabu-kun.

'Well~ maybe I am not beautiful enough. He doesn't even ask me to dance,' I thought sadly.

I was thinking that when I heard the familiar music.

'Tonight, I will be a different Yuri,' I stood and walked towards Yabu.

This is the moment that I just can’t let end
Before I know that there's a chance were more than friends♫

She was walking towards me. I was too stunned to move.

She stopped right in front of me and everybody was looking at us.

She extended her hand and she said, "Will you dance with me?"

"This is embarrassing, but sure," I said and we stood and I pulled her to the dance floor.

Prince Yabu and the Masked Princess.

Yuri's hands were on Yabu's shoulders and his hands were around her waist.

They swayed to the beat of the music as they looked closely at each other.

They were on their own world.

Just the music stopped, all the other students clapped their hands that made the two look around.

The principal stepped up the stage. It was Midnight. Time to announce the King and Queen. And without a doubt...

"Prince Yabu and the Masked Princess!"

Everybody clapped their hands again as Yabu pulled her up the stage.

The received their titles and just as they were going down, Yabu stopped at the middle of the stage and said, "Don’t we all want to know who the Masked Princess is?"

The crowd cheered. Yuri turned to Yabu and shook her head as she held the mask close to her face.

I walked closer to her and extended my hand to hold her mask as she continually shook her head.

"Daijobu. It will be okay. You're with me," I said and I saw her relaxed her shoulder as she let go of her mask and let me remove it.

I placed my hands on both sides of her masked and slowly lifted it as I stared on her think narrow lips.

Slowly... slowly...

Everybody was shocked to see who it was... including me.

But I'm happy more that shocked.

"Yuri!" I exclaimed.

She looked at me and just as she was about to look down, I lifted her chin and stared at her.

I knew now why she entered my mind that time. Because she will be mine and mine alone forever. Given this last chance to see that.

And I hugged her right there and then. And she hugged me back.

So how is the story? Really bad? Good? Or it's just normal? Well hope you all will gave some comment about it! Well speak the truth i always wish to be a teacher but i don't know why now i wish to be a famous writter! Anyway when Kirarin had her dream, she will chase for it! That is Kirarin!!!!
